Hornet Manufacturing Inc.'s Headquarters

nameplateHornet Manufacturing Incorporated was established in 2006 and is located in Hudson, Michigan.  Hornet is an ASME Code Shop with H, U, HLW, R, M, S and NB certificates.

Hornets core business is the production welding of fabricated metal products.   Products include automotive weldments, heat exchangers, complete boilers and parts, and tubesheets. Primary welding processes include resistance, projection, GTAW, GMAW, and Robotic MIG.  Other processes include plasma cutting, CNC milling, waterjet cutting, plate beveling and rolling.  Our 48,000 square foot facility is divided into two sections to support both  our carbon steel and stainless steel products.

biormattPresident, Matt Shalosky

Matt Shalosky has extensive manufacturing experience with focal points revolving around welding, stamping, roll forming, machining, spinning and painting operations.

He has a BS in Welding Engineering from Ohio State and holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Wisconsin.

Various positions previously held consist of Engineer, Engineering Manager, Plant Manager and President.

Matt is married to Christi and is the proud father of five daughters. He and his family reside in Hillsdale, Michigan.  In his leisure time, he enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, tennis and golf.

biochristyVice President, Christi Shalosky

Christi Shalosky has twenty years of experience revolving around financial management as well as pricing negotiations.

She has a Bachelor of Science Administration Degree in Production Operations from Ohio State.

Her experience in these fields has been based on being an independent business owner, Buyer and Corporate Purchaser as well as a family coordinator and manager.

In her spare time she enjoys reading, cooking with her daughters, traveling, and water activities.

mike-angelOperations Manager, Mike Angel

Experience/Background Mike has 23 years of manufacturing experience, with 17 of that in a management role.  Most of his experience is related to the automotive sector along with some specialized machining experience.  Mike also served 4 years in the United States Airforce as a Security Policeman with an Honorable Discharge.  He joined the Hornet team in January 2016.

Mike is Gulf War Veteran of Desert Storm who loves spending time with his family and has passion for hunting whitetail deer.

debbie-myersExecutive Administrative Assistant, Debbie Myers

Experience/Background   Debbie has over 30 years in office administration including benefits, office management, human resources and purchasing.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.  Debbie has been a member of the Hornet Manufacturing team since May, 2015.

Debbie’s hobbies include crocheting, reading, cooking and baking.  Her favorite times are spent with her husband, Jim; children, and grandchildren.


Rob McQueen, Carbon Steel Supervisor

Rob has 25 years experience in manufacturing.  In addition to being an ASME certified welder, he also has an extensive maintenance background.  In his spare time, he enjoys flying and still holds his commercial rating.

Rob is the proud father of a son, Justin and daughter, Sarah Rae Ann.

Experience/Background   Stephanie has 32 years in various fields of manufacturing.   Some include; nuclear power, automotive, aerospace, welding and fabrication.  She joined Hornet in July 2015 and is a valuable asset to Hornet overseeing multiple departments.

In her spare time Stephanie enjoys kayaking/canoeing, working in her yard, art, photography and movies.

charlie-kittleStainless Steel /WaterJet Supervisor, Charlie Kittle

Experience/Background   Charlie came to Hornet with 30 plus years experience in multiple areas.  Some of those include broaching, screw machines, progression die stamping, induction welding, TIG & MIG welding, CNC work and supervision.

Charlie is an extremely hard worker.  In his free time he enjoys photography, kayaking, camping and spending time with his wife Anna and his sons.


Quality Engineer, Daniel R. Beaubien

Dan has 4 years in the manufacturing industry.  He started at Hornet as a spot welder; moved to CNC; became an ASME Code Certified welder and is now in charge of the quality at Hornet.

In Dan’s spare time he continues to learn and take new classes.  He is a dedicated family man and believes God continues to use him every day, both personally and professionally.
